LeaderStat Rehab is looking for a PTA to work in a Central Ohio Outpatient Clinic. You'll assist the Physical Therapist to provide services that help improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. You'll perform a variety of tasks and handle components of treatment as directed. Will record the patient's responses to treatment and report the outcome of each treatment to the Physical Therapist.
Accepting resumes from PTAs with strong interpersonal skills who exhibit compassion and a desire to help patients. Good verbal and written skills are a must. You need to interact with residents and other therapy staff in a positive and beneficial manner. Tasks may include heavy and frequent lifting or carrying of heavy objects. You may be walking, standing, bending, stooping, or sitting for extended periods. Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Columbus

As a therapist in a Home Care setting, you will restore, maintain, and promote the overall fitness and health of patients. Expect to teach patients to use assistive and adaptive devices such as a walker, prosthesis, or wheelchair. Document their progress, conduct periodic examinations, and modify treatments when necessary. You may need to consult with other professionals involved in the patient's care. In some cases, you may accompany an individual to an appointment or to a center, or attend company sponsored meetings. Excellent benefits and flexible scheduling available.
